City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong presents Felix Klieser
7 April @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Felix Klieser, a truly inspiring musician born without arms, collaborates with City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK) in a performance of two virtuoso horn concertos by Mozart and Strauss. The programme, conducted by Vahan Mardirossian, also offers a deeper musical journey into two rarely heard orchestral works by Butterworth and Saint-Saëns. Butterworth’s The Banks of Green Willow is a serenely beautiful English Idyll and the lesser-played second symphony by Saint-Saëns is a musical gem, expertly crafted.
Felix Klieser’s extraordinary career as a professional horn player proves that pursuing one’s dreams against all odds can lead to success and happiness. In order to play the horn, Felix Klieser mounts the instrument on a stand and uses his toes to change notes.
Tickets for Felix Klieser + CCOHK are $500, $350, $200, with half-price concessions for full-time students, senior citizens and people with disabilities.
