Facial Treatment: Face-lifting Supra Facial
Beauty Clinic – EstheClinic
EstheClinic, well known for its effective aesthetic non-invasive treatments, recently launched the Supra Facial, which promises to sculpt, tone, lift and firm – I went along to try it out.
Supra is a clever three-in-one treatment combining three anti ageing technologies: radiofrequency to firm and smooth the skin, a vacuum that lifts and drains, and EMS to tone and sculpt.
The team described the treatment to me as “a Pilates workout for the face”, and they said that it may result in some redness. Once settled, my therapist set to work with a cleanse before starting the treatment. She used two devices, the first for the larger areas of my face, neck and upper chest, and the second a smaller one that targeted more delicate areas. It was a totally pain-free experience, the rhythmic suction was gentle and surprisingly relaxing, and I even felt myself nodding off briefly.
My skin is quite sensitive and I was indeed ruby red after the treatment. However, the following day, the redness had completely subsided leaving my skin visibly smoother, clearer and with noticeable definition and sculpting particularly around my jaw line. The results are pretty impressive for a 40-minute treatment.
The Supra Facial is available for a trial offer of $780 (normally $1,900).

Facial Treatment: Environ Focus-On Eye
Beauty Clinic – Glow Spa & Salon
Glow beauty clinic offers a full range of Environ treatments, which are facials that last 90 minutes, and also the Focus-On range, 45-minute treatments that home in on a specific problem area.
In today’s visit, I chose to have the Environ Focus-On Eye, as I have poor circulation around my eyes and I was keen to see how this well-respected treatment could smooth out the puffiness.
Environ uses dual electro-sonic technology, which is a combination of low frequency sound waves and an electric current. This creates tiny bubbles in the skin to allow the treatment’s peptide complexes and hyaluronic acid to penetrate more deeply.
My therapist explained the details of the treatment, pointing out that it’s suitable for everyone due to the low frequency electoral current that’s used. Then, once I was settled, she began with cleansing my face.
This facial treatment is totally painless; in fact, the only sensation I felt was when the smooth product was applied around my eyes for 15 minutes. A clay mask was then applied to my whole face – while it set, my therapist treated me to a relaxing hand and arm massage. Once the dry mask was removed, there was a final moisturise and light layer of sunscreen and I was good to go.
The skin around my eyes was certainly smoother and less puffy, and the mask left my whole face feeling supple and well hydrated. This is a great treatment if you’re short of time and looking to “depuff”!
The 45-minute Environ Focus-On Eye treatment costs $1,100.
