In its 5th triumphant year of fabulous performances by Hong Kong Ballet, Septime Webre’s The Nutcracker: A Hong Kong Adventure invites audiences on a magical journey through early 20th-century Hong Kong.
Opening this Christmas, the production follows Clara, Fritz, and the Nutcracker Prince as they battle the mischievous Rat King to restore peace to their enchanted world. Along their quest, they encounter peacocks, nimble jockeys, playful dim sum, and radiant bauhinias, all set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music.
With new surprises, vivid costumes, and stunning sets, this award-winning show celebrates imagination, courage, and Hong Kong’s rich culture.
