DESCRIPTION:Tai Kwun has unveiled SPOTLIGHT: A Season of Performing Arts 2026\, returning in late March for its sixth edition with a programme that continues to push the boundaries of artistic disciplines. Running from 26 March to 3 May 2026\, the season brings together theatre\, music\, dance and visual arts in a series of interdisciplinary works staged across the heritage site. \nHighlights include Fire Drill Scenario by Korean artist Geumhyung Jeong\, the immersive music performance Songs of Being\, and a new Play Reading initiative presenting three original scripts in different Tai Kwun spaces. The season also features Tai Kwun’s first international commission\, The Liar\, by Danish writer-director Tue Biering\, alongside the dance double-bill Between Selves and the multimedia closing work On the Up Grade.

SUMMARY:Bookazine Family Fun Day
DESCRIPTION:A full day of stories\, crafts and hands-on fun is coming to Bookazine Repulse Bay this May. Families can drop in for one activity or stay for the whole line-up\, with everything from author-led story sessions to creative workshops and games. \nThe day kicks off with a free story reading by Joanne Li\, author of Please Be You and I AM ME!\, followed by a Mother’s Day Super Hero Mum craft activity ($50) where kids can create something special. In the afternoon\, there’s a Pizza Slime workshop ($200 per child)\, before wrapping up with another free story session by Andrew Spires\, author of The Dogtor!. \nAlongside the scheduled activities\, expect plenty more to keep kids entertained\, including arts and crafts\, magic\, games\, fun tattoos and prizes. \n\nSome activities are free\, while others have a fee\, but all require registration to avoid missing out. SUMMARY:Musicus Heritage Stories Concert Series at Tai Kwun: Tastes and Timbres
DESCRIPTION:Musicus Society presents Tastes and Timbres\, four concerts inspired by Tai Kwun and Central’s multicultural spirit and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. \nOn 29 and 30 May\, Musicus Soloists Hong Kong\, a handpicked ensemble by the renowned cellist Trey Lee\, performs Western masterpieces alongside violinist Anna-Liisa Bezrodny and violinist/violist Gareth Lubbe\, while musicians from the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra perform a unique commission.
