Multi-Industry Real World Experience Summer Programmes
Is your child having difficulty deciding on a future career to pursue? Or perhaps they’re unsure what different career industries look like? OWN Academy’s signature summer programme provides students with a high level broad introduction to a range of industries.
Each day of the camp week will focus on a different industry, specifically relating to fields of STEM, Creative, Business, Health & Wellness, and Communication. Activities are designed to help students understand career possibilities and develop skills that are critical for future success. Day to day, participants will be introduced to an overview of various career opportunities within each featured industry, participate in interactive activities and build skills through hands on workshops. The programme will also feature insights from at least two industry professionals. They’ll give a glimpse into potential future industries and help bring greater clarity around career preferences.

Run by Australasia Tennis Aces, a group of internationally qualified pickleball coaches in Hong Kong, the camp offers participants support in learning the game, as well as necessary fundamental techniques and strategies through personalised instruction. Throughout the week, players will learn about correct grip, stances, forehand and backhand drives and dinks. Vlogging: Make a Summer Vlog!
Sharing experiences and memories through videos is key in this day and age, so why not learn the skills necessary for vlogging effectively and the behind-the-scenes fun of video creation? Led by teachers from Babel Film Workshop with professional video production experience, participants will be guided through planning, filming and editing videos – and ultimately create their own vlog about their summer holiday.
