SPOTLIGHT: A Season of Performing Arts
26 March - 3 May
Tai Kwun has unveiled SPOTLIGHT: A Season of Performing Arts 2026, returning in late March for its sixth edition with a programme that continues to push the boundaries of artistic disciplines. Running from 26 March to 3 May 2026, the season brings together theatre, music, dance and visual arts in a series of interdisciplinary works staged across the heritage site.
Highlights include Fire Drill Scenario by Korean artist Geumhyung Jeong, the immersive music performance Songs of Being, and a new Play Reading initiative presenting three original scripts in different Tai Kwun spaces. The season also features Tai Kwun’s first international commission, The Liar, by Danish writer-director Tue Biering, alongside the dance double-bill Between Selves and the multimedia closing work On the Up Grade.
