Boarding in Australia – Information Evening

Hong Kong Academy Open Day
Join the upcoming Exploration Day at Hong Kong Academy to see how HKA’s teaching, programmes and facilities help to foster intellectually curious, intrinsically motivated and interculturally minded global citizens. Australian International School Hong Kong Open Day

The Future of Engineering
Eight deans from Canada’s leading engineering faculties visited Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) on Saturday, January 24, for an afternoon engagement with students, parents and families, offering first‑hand insight into studying engineering in Canada and the future of the discipline.
The deans shared perspectives on academic pathways, admissions and emerging trends in engineering education, whilo also answering student and parent questions about specific programmes and universities. North London Collegiate School Hong Kong
Opening soon in partnership with the HOEH Group is NLCS Hong Kong, which will add to the global family of NLCS schools that includes campuses in the UK, Dubai, Jeju, Singapore and Kobe. The curriculum will be shaped by the long-established NLCS approach, blending academic challenge with thoughtful guidance for students aiming for universities worldwide. Teachers will be appointed from different countries and trained at the founding NLCS campus in the UK so they fully understand the school’s ethos.

YK Pao School Hong Kong
The YK Pao Education Foundation will open a new bilingual school in September 2026, extending its longstanding educational work from Shanghai. The not-forprofit school will begin at the Kowloon East campus and later move into a rebuilt site on Rose Street, with modern facilities and green areas. Designed for ages six to 15, the school aims to foster confident bicultural thinkers through an immersive Putonghua-English environment and a curriculum encouraging curiosity, communication and balanced personal growth. Coming soon at NAIS Hong Kong!
There’s an exciting expansion under way at Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong, with the school set to open a new Sixth Form Centre in Hung Hom in August 2026. Designed as a modern, university-style learning environment, the Centre will feature dedicated study areas, collaborative learning spaces and specialised facilities to foster independence, curiosity, creativity and academic excellence.

Dynamic new learning spaces at Kellett
There are exciting times afoot at Kellett School, the British International School in Hong Kong, with the announcement that a dedicated Sixth Form Centre will open for the start of the 2026/27 academic year (subject to EDB approval). Located in The Bay Hub on Kai Cheung Road, the Centre will be a third campus for Kellett, with features including 12 classrooms and state-of-the-art study areas and social spaces.
Meanwhile, a major refurbishment of the original Pok Fu Lam campus will start in the summer of 2026 and roll out over a number of years (mostly in holiday periods to avoid any disruptions). Stamford American campus news

New at IMS
The International Montessori School of Hong Kong has launched its Middle School at the Stanley Campus. The school offers HK’s first and only Montessori programme designed for adolescents, with a heavy focus on project-based learning, student-run businesses and IMS’s signature immersive bilingual learning. Teen tech victories
The Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) made a significant impact at last year’s Conrad Challenge in Houston, Texas, as the only school from Hong Kong to compete in the Global Summit. Previously, its two teams competed at the Conrad Challenge China Summit. Team Kinection achieved success by winning gold with their Kinector, a telehealth solution, and Team Poseioness captured bronze and the Most Persuasive Award for its underwater robot. Kinection made history for CDNIS, winning the Health & Nutrition category’s 2025 Innovation Summit Power Pitch Winner title. cdnis.edu.hk
