The new facial treatment
On arrival, I completed a short health questionnaire and chatted to the therapist about the treatment. She explained it would take about 25 minutes and would involve two different procedures, neither of them painful. (This was welcome news, as the skin around my eyes is very sensitive.)
This facial treatment combines a new generation of thermo-controlled radiofrequency, which uses energy waves to heat the deep layer of the skin, and UCosmo ultrasound technology. Both techniques penetrate the skin to stimulate collagen and promote skin rejuvenation.
After removing my eye makeup and giving my face a quick cleanse, my therapist applied a gel and then used the handheld radiofrequency device gently around my eyes and eyelids. After about 10 minutes, she changed to the ultrasound device again for around 10 minutes. She then cleansed and moisturised my skin before finishing up in a record 25 minutes as promised.
The verdict
Before this treatment, I must admit to being a little sceptical – would it really deliver? In short, yes it does! This is a totally pain-free procedure that really does yield visible results after just one visit – and with no down-time. The skin around my eyes was tighter, brighter and firmer, particularly my top eyelids. I left feeling fresh-faced and relaxed.
The team at EstheClinic recommends a series of eye treatments to yield the best results and I expect this is when you would see a longer-term improvement in eye bags and puffy eyes.
