#1 Birdwatching in Kuala Lumpur Bird Park
Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is the world’s largest free-flight and walk-in aviary. This eco-tourism park in Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens spans 20 acres and houses over 3,000 birds from 200 species.
The park is divided into four zones: Zones 1 and 2 make up the free-flight area, Zone 3 is the Hornbill Park, and Zone 4 features birds in separate cages and mini aviaries. Zones 1 to 3 are areas wherein birds are free to roam in an atmosphere that imitates their natural habitat. This also allows them to breed naturally. You can enjoy watching colourful and melodic birds close-up, to experience a slice of life in a tropical rainforest. It’s also a wheelchair-friendly park.
