A Giant’s Perspective: Miniature Exhibition at The Peak
29 May @ 10:00 am - 23 June @ 9:00 pm
If you thought that some apartments in HK were small, wait until you see the buildings depicted in this quirky exhibition at The Peak!
Running until 23 June, “Hong Kong: Through the Looking Glass Miniature Exhibition” is a showcase of the landmarks, customs and lifestyle of Hong Kong through a series of miniature artworks.
The 24 pieces are created by the Joyful Miniature Association, which was established in 2013 by a group of “miniature artists” who have turned the art form of crafting tiny scale models that originated in Europe into a unique artistic style of their own.
There are seven new creations among the 24, including Kai Tak Stadium, Ngong Ping 360, Kowloon Walled City, and horseracing at Happy Valley. A team of over 100 artists worked together to complete the collection.
