Hong Kong Jewish Film Festival

The Hong Kong Jewish Film Festival (HKJFF) returns from 7 to 15 November, bringing nine days of films that explore family, identity, history, courage and human relationships. Now in its 27th year, the festival will screen features, documentaries and short films from places including France, Israel, the United States and Bolivia.
The programme opens with Lucky Star, a wartime comedy set in Nazi-occupied France, and closes with Matchmaking 3, an Israeli comedy about love, tradition and matchmaking. Other highlights include Fantasy Life, Oxygen, To Kill a Nazi and The Sea, alongside short films such as Double Happiness and Babka.
Screenings will take place at Golden Scene Cinema in Kennedy Town and Emperor Cinemas in Central and Causeway Bay. Tickets go on sale from 2 October.
