Where It All Began: 10 Years of Mums@PLAY

A meaningful lunch gathering on 14 August will mark a decade of Mums@PLAY, taking place in the very venue where the community’s journey first began. Guests will enjoy a delicious three-course Mexican lunch while sharing nostalgic conversations that reflect on the group’s early days and memorable milestones. A specially curated market zone will also be set up as a tribute to the original Mums@PLAY bazaar, fondly remembered as the friendliest bazaar in town. The event will recreate the warm and vibrant atmosphere that has long been associated with the community’s enduring byline: Shop, Eat, Network.

The occasion carries added significance as it coincides with the farewell to El Charro, which is closing its doors at this much-loved location. For many members, the restaurant holds a special place in the story of Mums@PLAY, having welcomed the community during its formative years. The gathering will provide an opportunity to reflect on where the journey began, celebrate how far the community has come over the past ten years, and create one final chapter of shared memories in a venue that has been part of its history from the very beginning.
